We recently surveyed automotive suppliers on their experience negotiating pricing with their customers, and how their customers are using cost models in their negotiations.  We found that both collaborative and competitive approaches are being used in the North American market.

In this report, we explore what specific types of cost models are being used, and how they are being applied, by 10 automotive OEMs and 9 large Tier 1’s.
